MJEP’s “Basketball Clinic” – Sunday, July 23th *2:00-3:30 pm*

The Marion Jones Elite Performance (MJEP) Basketball Clinic is a great way to keep young girls busy on their free time. It is designed to provide age appropriate activities where they will learn the values of teamwork, perseverance, responsibility, and sportsmanship.  It also gives them the opportunity to build relationships with girls of their age while learning a new sport.

This course is composed of six sessions with a different skill to learn each day. The girls are expected to learn about ball handling, shooting and footwork drills. Each workout will be organized in a circuit format. Fun exercise tools will be introduced for each class, including exercise balls, resistant bands, free-motion cables and medicine balls, to name a few. There will be a group warm-up, cool-down and flexibility exercises.

All sessions will have a maximum of 4 participants and last for 1 hour. 2 separate sessions will be offered on Sundays from 3:30- 4:30pm and 4:30-5:30pm. If you think your child would benefit from a one on one session with Coach Marion there are other options available, please inquire. Email us at marionjoneselite@gmail.com to register and session times will be assigned based on availability.

There is a total of 8 slots available for each of these Sundays.

This coming Sunday, we have a special 30 min longboarding session, and we encourage students to bring their own longboards. In case you don’t already have one you may like to read the longboard review written by AuthorityAdviser before you buy it.
